Medicare was run down by the conservative government. They want to follow the American model, so have not raised the rates in years. A lot of doctors have abandoned it as it hasn’t kept piece with inflation.
If you have an immediately life threatening emergency, you can call the ambulance. But even that is overloaded.
Generally, there’s a shortage of doctors and health care. Long waits for everything.
Sad but predictable.
But you have a labor government in power now. Why haven’t they fixed it.
Don’t they think healthcare is a priority?
