Very interesting grinder for those that like to experiment with different burrs as it supports both conical and flat burrs. I think only the niche zero with a 3rd party kit did that so far?

Can’t say it would replace multiple grinders with just one for me as it still takes too long to switch over but I could definitely see myself switching burrs when I change over bags once or twice a month.

It does conical and flat burrs? I thought it only does flat? Also that the niche was limited to just one size of burr when this can take multiple sizes?

I was sure the duo did conical too, but I just checked, and I guess I just made that up? Either way, this can take multiple sizes, like you said. It’s clearly a much nicer grinded, but its also much more expensive

Duo definitely seems to have the better carrier system that would make it easier to get it back to the same dial in setting without having to redial in. Once you can’t trust that dial in, you massively slow down the speed to switch burrs.

However neither are remotely simple or quick enough to me to want to attempt to do this on a daily basis, I’m still sat on the side of two grinders, one for pour and one for espresso, it’s just if I want two grinders for espresso, one for clarity and one for body or one that I switch burrs on.

I’m with you on the burr swapping process. If it takes more than a minute and requires tools, I’ll never actually do it often enough to make it worth while.
