‘Hey all, It’s been an amazing run thanks to all of you.’
‘Hey all, It’s been an amazing run thanks to all of you.’
The allegation section of the post is…wild. Good thing the dev had the presence of mind to record it. The audacity of the CEO to lie about what went on in the call…well, I guess I’m not surprised by that, but more surprised he got caught!
But I guess ultimately, how many people are going to hear about how easily Reddit’s CEO will lie through his teeth? How many will care? It’s kind of depressing to think about 😥
That kind of lying could easily be seen as slander or libel, but I’m no lawyer. It wouldn’t surprise me if legally that was a Bad Move for spez either way, but ultimately it doesn’t look like the apollo dev has any intention of suing for that, understandably so.
Yeah, it seems like Christian is making peace with Apollo coming to an end and just wants to cut ties with Reddit now. Which is fair enough. He almost certainly doesn’t have the funds to match Reddit’s legal team, so why bother?
It’s a damn shame though. The app devs have been treated abominably by Reddit.
spez is a very special specimen.
