Takes a every entitled, narcissistic mind set to shit all over your neighbor’s car and porch, threaten them with violence and then ask them for a few eggs to help then through their trying times.

The “find out” part of fuck around is already right there, yet most US citizens seem unaware that this is the “find out” stage of how they handled poultry for decades now.

RFK now wants all chickens to get bird flu, because his worm told him so and what could possibly go wrong?

I know trump doesn’t know world history.

But helping Russia and asking Lithuania for help are mutually exclusive options.

This is the kind of response people tend to give to questions they don’t know the answer to.

Ditching Ukraine support or putting them in a bad spot, justifying russian claims.

            Creating division between historical allies.

            Spreading misinformation and lies.

Look, I asked for a couple of clear, concrete examples - not because I’m unwilling to do my own research, but because I want to hear what you consider the strongest case for it. Sending someone off to ‘read the news’ or linking an enormous wiki article is more about shutting down the conversation than having a good-faith discussion. If our positions were reversed, and you sincerely wanted to understand my point, would you appreciate me saying ‘go watch this two-hour documentary’ without providing any specifics? If you genuinely believe Trump is helping Russia, why not briefly share one or two of the most compelling examples that convinced you personally? That’s usually what people do when they’re sincerely interested in sharing knowledge rather than simply dismissing questions.

No. I have had enough of suffering consequences of awful bad faith, obvious arguments and treating people like that as if they are making salient points.

                Grow up, and act properly.

Maybe you should take your own advice on that one. You’ve been acting hostile, snide, and accusatory toward me throughout this entire exchange, and for no reason.

I personally find it hilarious that they would rather beg than enact the regulations necessary to prevent the problem from happening in the first place

Dismantling safety nets, regulation and government involvement in general, while encouraging rampant capitalism appears to be their main goal here. Are these politicians trying to make Cyberpunk a reality? It seems to be working.

Seems like the only thing they’re trying to make happen is to end America’s status as a superpower and line their own pockets for as long as possible

They don’t seem to know or care what the consequences are

If another country wanted to shift the balance of power, this is exactly what they would want USA to do. If you can’t beat them in war, you have to play the long game and start dismantling your enemy from the inside.

The egg prices where I’m at in the US aren’t even that bad. I was just at the store and saw a dozen of the fanciest extra-large pasture-raised, organic-fed eggs were $7.99, and the cheap eggs were $4.35. Is it worse other places?

I suspect that’s the point, this admin is being told to do things that will further humiliate the US on the world stage and further erode the respect the US (no longer) gets.
