Well, it’s not like the US had any kind of alliance with any European state at that point. And Europe pretty much was just ‘Far-away-istan’ (as we say in Dutch) for Americans.

Basically similar to know except Trump would side with the axis powers.
There’s really no way to know. It seems likely to me he’d have chosen an isolationist stance, but yeah, no way to know.
