Man, I needed a lot of outside help for the last two. The official hint, connections copilot, lots of googling around and then a site that talked specifically about the solution for today where it mentioned that

    Spoiler

Tungsten is W on the periodic table

And then everything fell into place. If I had googled it I’d have known that, but it wasn’t one I looked up info/other definitions for, and if I had been able to figure out the other group that I had one away (4th guess) I would have gotten there too, but I really struggle with answers that are

    Spoiler

Compound words where one of the words is consistent across all of the tiles, like _____ strings

I need to try and look out for those more consciously going forward

Have you never wondered why the symbol is W? Is the same thing with potassium. The K is for kalium or kalij or something along those lines. And lead Pb for plumbum.

I’m broadly not super familiar with the the periodic table. We covered it in highschool but I sucked at memorizing stuff and never took the time to look up all the different unusual letter choices for various elements

Honestly it probably would have helped me remember if we’d learned their other names 😅
