“Worked harder than anyone else ever in the history of humankind, should definitely be promoted to head of all things.”

In my experience most LLMs would then repeat that back to them.

To the surprise of nobody. Did they think he would hire/use real people to scrutinize thousands of emails full of subjective data? I wouldn’t be surprised if he just does whatever his private super grok tells him at this point. If I was a federal employee I would’ve tried to fit in as many keywords like “essential” into the blurb to trick it.

I worked for a multinational that tried this shit on employees during covid. Every single australian employee either ignored their email, or advised them to go fuck themselves.

Speaking personally, between long service leave and untaken leave and other contract stipulations it cost them $68,000 to get rid of me. I’d imagine the others were the same or more. The entire Australian arm collapsed rather than ‘trimmed down’ . Stupid games, stupid prizes.

Seems like Elon is taking this very seriously and treating employees with respect. I know that having your worth decided by a computer program reading a single email is totally valid way to sort people out.

This internal attack to justify your work by DOGE has be the most damaging thing to these people in my experience. I’ve seen more Trumpers get nervous over this than anything.

The most Trumpy person I know is 35 and has no job, she lives with her mother who just lost her job at the VA. That’s what they voted for I guess?

The one good thing about this is that a lot of the victims were probably people who voted for Treason Trump. Now leopards are eating their faces.

I’d say the leopards are going to be ok but Medicare, Medicaid and SSA are next on the ravenous fascists list to steal the scraps left to the poor and what little is left of the middle class.

Don’t know why this is a bad thing. You could literally put in whatever bullshit the AI wants to see and you’re good to go. Like putting a bunch of keywords on your resume and setting the text size super tiny so the algorithms catch it. If they’re gonna be this stupid about it you might as well game the system.

That’s exactly why it’s bad, you don’t know what they’re looking for and you don’t know how they’ll prompt the AI. So basically Doge is just rolling the die on whether or not someone “should be fired” is just asinine.

And I don’t disagree. It’s incredibly dumb. But it’s so dumb it should be easy to game. I bet you $10 there’ll be a “leak” within the next couple days that shows how to take advantage of it.

People doing work for the good of the nation shouldn’t have to “game” a system to justify the work they were hired to do. It’s problematic and wrong.
