    Most of the leftists I see on Lemmy and know personally begrudgingly voted for Kamala. The people on here saying genocide Joe constantly were plants.

    The fact is, at least 2 million democrats who voted in the previous election did not vote this time. Leftists are an incredibly small portion of the population unfortunately.

      This isn’t correct. 2 million people who voted for democrats in the previous election did not vote this time. This includes democrats, leftists, independents, etc.

      And I know some claim they voted for Kamala anyway (not sure how believable that is) but the fact is they did their utter best to depress voter turnout despite how they voted by pissing on Democrats any chance they could get, often repeating Republican propaganda, making up lies, or just being generally uneducated about the Democrat platform.

      That pissing contest has an effect and a consequence. And they should feel responsible for this consequence that we now all face.

      I’m sick and tired of these straight white privileged leftists who think they can dismiss me and people like me yet claim to be speaking in my benefit and then turning the wolves on us queer people of color because they didn’t get everything they want.
