      It left the European Economic Community in 1985, over fisheries stuff. But since it’s still an overseas territory of Denmark, it’s still in the OCT (Overseas Countries and Territories) associated with the EU.

      The EU officially formed in 1992, so they never left the EU. But all of the EC was absorbed into the EU, so… Maybe

    What’s the current situation for Greenland? Fishing a big part of the economy? Would they have to allow eu vessels to fish? Join the euro? Would sea passage for other countries, eg Russia, USA, change if they joined?

      Last year there was an opinion poll where 60% of Greenlanders said they would vote in favour of rejoining the EU. I assume that number is a bit higher now.
