I’m baffled that it even lasted that long. I have never even seen anyone ever buy or eat one of those. I don’t even know what it looks like out of the packaging and every time I see it at the store the picture on the box reminds me of something straight from a medical encyclopedia.
My partner went out to the store and bought 36 of them, clearing the shelf. They are her moms favorite candy, so she is going to give her a year+ supply of them.
The last one I remember eating was in the 1980s from my grandmother, we used to buy them for her for Valentine’s I think? They were so so horribly sweet and drippy and gooey and not in a good way.
