Disgust for seeing this happen Anger towards those responsible for it Frustrated that these deaths still happen despite all the work put into preventing them Overwhelmed by the state of the world and your powerlessness in fixing things. Fear for your own life or that of loved ones who can realistically find themselves in a similar situation Happy that you made it out alive when you went through a similar situation Grateful that you don’t live in an environment where this is a common occurrence. Motivated to get back to work towards your dream because of the reminder that life is short. And that’s just a few off the top of my head. It would also keep out autistic people who can’t read their own emotions.
