Man, I sure do love to DoorDash™ some Dunkin’™!

Part of me hopes the original post was intentional marketing, because I’m still not ready to accept that people speak in brands now.

Genericizing trademarks takes value away from brands. It’s good.

Please place the used facial tissue in the steel waste receptacle…nobody has ever talked like this. You say Kleenex in Dumpster. You Hoover up a spill. You Bing your search. You shamwow literally anything.

But that’s not even what’s happening, they literally had actual Dunkin delivered by actual door dash.

        “I ordered some donuts”

“Put the tissue in the bin/trash”

        “Clean up a spill”

        “You bing your search”

What on earth is “to shamwow”? I had to Google™ (read: look up) what that meant!

It’s an extremely well-known “as seen on tv” product in the united States. Check out some of the commercials on YouTube they are hilarious. No clue why it came to mind, tho.
