Would love to play it again with different players.
My DM let me play as a homebrew vampire - the party didn’t know and thought I was a grey elf who also was a Grave Cleric (maybe also homebrew?).
The party found out when I betrayed them after they made pacts with different Dark Powers (they thought it was boons to help kill Strahd) and I didn’t, the priest of the Amber Temple told me what happened and let me escape.
He emerged from the top of the steps at the big column in the central part of the temple, and just started massive lightning attacks, wiping out the party. They all “miracously” revived the following morning.
I don’t want to spoil too much because my DM got a lot of ideas from the CoS sub years ago.
Anyone got some fun memories of a game?
I’m a bit confused. Did you transpose Curse of Strahd from D&D 5e into Call of Cthulhu? I’m wondering how that worked, mechanically. It’s one thing to transpose from D&D 5e into Pathfinder, since the two are broadly similar games in theme, but CoC is so fundamentally different. Were a lot of more substantial changes necessary?
