Deflection, distraction, and intimidation. Another example of the Florida governor’s lack of transparency and thug-like tactics.

It’s such an easy question to give a politically expedient answer to.

I’m not convinced he did, but he’s going to have to spend a lot of time dealing with the allegations. Republicans want to make America great again, and they deserve a presidential candidate that can fight for them, not one tied down by frivolous LIEberal lawsuits. Not to mention the risk of democrats rigging the election by blocking his name from the ballot. I believe Trump was the best president this country has ever had and once elected I will pardon him for any service to this country DEMONcrats call a crime. I’ll support him when he runs in 2028.

Say no, but leave room for reversal

Emphasize that Trump won’t be a good candidate

    Blame liberals/democrats

    Pledge allegiance to MAGA

He also hasn’t actually promised a pardon. If anyone says why haven’t you pardoned him: “You call that a service to the country”?

How long did it take you to write this comment. It’s difficult to address if you are not prepared.

The first sentence was what popped into my head when I read the question. The rest was a bit more work as I considered what his strategy should be. But they are talking points he is probably more familiar with.

He should be prepared for questions like this.
