Obviously I have been the most active member for the past week, but I figured there needed to be a PCGaming centric community where people felt comfortable discussing the more open aspects of the platform.
In the more than a decade I have been on Reddit, I didn’t comment every day and I rarely make posts, part of the reason was the decline in behaviour from the communities as they grew.
It’s been refreshing being in a happier environment this past week or two and although I wouldn’t mind going back to more lurking, lemmy isn’t going to populate itself with anywhere near the available content we had become used to.
I know that on July 1st a lot more people are going to come check out our instances/communities and if use who are already here aren’t going out of our comfort zone to be the activity we are looking for, the less involved will just head back to reddit when they don’t see enough here.
So I know my community doesn’t have a great deal of content yet, but I will be making sure to post to [email protected] as much as possible and try to create a community centered around PCGaming, in an environment that is positive towards FOSS & platform/content accessibility.
Feel free to post/comment if you are interested.
For those not interested in PCGaming from an open piracy instance, here are some other PCGaming communities;
I assumed there was a [email protected] but I can’t find it, [email protected] also but not as active.
