Meetings between lobbyists/private companies and politicians should simply be illegal.
No more making agreements over fancy diners, or taking them to expensive holidays or directly bribe them.
EVERYTHING must be in writing, and EVERYTHING should be available to the public.
Meeting in private should result in prison term for both parties.

It’s OK that Tesla lobby for their business, but not if it compromises politicians. The same of course goes for every other business interest.

Another way to look at it is a tax on fossil fuels. Increase the cost of fossil fuels and you increase the cost of things that use them! A carbon tax!
