The real people to blame for this are Israel themselves. By drawing a parallel between the nation of Israel and all Jews, Israel is giving permission in some people’s warped views to take out anger at Israel’s genocide on innocent Jewish people, and they are providing cover that makes it very hard to root out real antisemitism, because it’s easy to hide real antisemitism when most accusations of antisemitism are bullshit.
