Inflation cooled more than forecast over the 12 months to July, with the ABS monthly index showing consumer prices easing to an annual pace of 4.9 per cent last month.

    I live in the Territory and have not seen any easing. Everything is still on the way up at the moment.

      By easing they mean the inflation rate has dropped it’s still way above the target range.
