I used to live in a place where snails would eat them all, no matter how many traps and barriers I put to protect the vegetables. This year I’ve been going to my garden every morning, still expecting all my lettuces to have disappeared during the night. So it’s a bit hard to believe that I can 1) grow them and 2) actually eat them! They really are easy to grow when you don’t have an army of critters devastating your crops at night.
