Good morning here in Malaysia. It’s been raining a lot, so it’s kinda cold here, but I don’t think it’s anything compared to the cold in Canada.

Awww, it’s about 23C here. Even way, way north of me it’s pretty summery. Canada can be quite warm. What did you do today? I worked, saw my doctor, and picked hickory nuts.

At work, tried the new Technics earbuds, screamed at my manager. Pretty much your daily work.

23C is pretty cold for Malaysian weather, usually we only reach that level on particularly cool nights. However, the weather in highland regions can drop to 17 - 15C at night. (Maybe even lower than that on mountaintops)

True it must really get hot there. For some reason we missed the heat here this summer.

Where’s your favourite place to eat in Malaysia?

That’s a hard question to answer as there are so many great places to eat everywhere! Probably easier to answer if you narrow it down to a particular area.

Anyway, because we Malaysians like talking about food, we have a food community/channel here at [email protected]

Elsewhere on the Fediverse (on Mastodon/Firefish), there’s also a hashtag #MakanApaToday which initially was used by Malaysian users to post about food but it’s now used by our friends in other Southeast Asian countries as well!

I’m finally attending a patriotic event tmr. Not the main events because screw the insane crowds. Ironically I feel more patriotic overseas than in Malaysia lol

Why is it so hard to find a PC case for making your own NAS? As in a case where you can slot in a lot of hdd easily.

I really love how we can get people from all over the place across the fediverse commenting on Malaysian related stuff (incl daily threads like this), because normally these people may not get such content recommended to them in the other place.

I know license fee for songs might be expensive, but can radio station expand their playlist a little bit?

Gonna smash the radio if I listen super shy one more time😑
