No that’s a Honda LaneSense passenger side camera toggle, shows what’s beside/behind you from the side mirrors perspective. My mom’s HRV has it. It also activates when you turn on the right turn signal. My guess it it’s from turning the headlights on and off with dirty hands, you can see it’s set to OFF now. Don’t know why people don’t just use the auto headlight feature.
I’m not a forensics expert how should I know? It’s dirty from something but I know it’s not from the driver sticking it up their ass, I’m 87% sure of that. I just happened to know what the controls were for lol
Nah, that’s definitely the blinker stalk. The end twists to turn the headlights on and off and the dial closer to the middle is for adjusting illumination brightness. Another comment said the button on the end is some propriety Honda thing. Plus it’s clearly on the driver’s side of the wheel (though tbf I’m assuming left-hand drive here)
I highly doubt they adjust their wipers enough to leave a thick layer of skin and oil on it. Not sure what this is, but that ain’t it
Are the arrows not indication of the blinkers?
Nope. It’s showing that you can press in the lever, likely to dispense windshield washing fluid

You actually believe that residue is from dirty hands? Seriously?
