Hold them responsible by refusing to vote for neoliberals ever again.

It won’t be by voting, that’s for sure.

Why can’t we just blame the idiots who didn’t vote for her? Can’t it be their fault and not some mystery boogeyman behind the curtain that democratic voters are supposed to feel responsible for?

That’s an awful lot easier but likely less accurate and what happens whenever establishment Dems lose. “Hillary lost because of Bernie Bros” is the first and loudest instance that springs to mind. But even if that statement were true, In hindsight we know that she and her campaign sorta rigged the primary, which looked more obvious than they probably intended. That disenfranchised some voters and they didn’t vote.

That’s not the voters fault, the candidate did something that made those voters not vote for them. Just like Kamala/the DNC did with running an ancient dude, not having a primary, running the ancient dudes VP, supporting the genocide of Palestinians, loving fracking, and onwards. I was really optimistic early on with her VP pick but that seemed to be the moderate leftmost edge of her campaign.

I’m of the opinion that until the DNC stops appealing to disenfranchised Republicans this steady slide right will keep happening. Running as R-lite hasn’t really been paying off as well for them as it did in the 90s.

You people are not owed votes. People vote for things, Harris offered nothing of value. People do not usually vote against things.

Tens of millions of poor Americans are worse off now than they were under Trump during the height of the pandemic. What was the liberal messaging from the Harris campaign?

No you’re not, get over it, vote for more of the same economics that have destroyed your last shred of hope for a brighter future.

That doesn’t resonate with people. Clinton ran a campaign on “I’m not him,” without acknowledging anything americans were suffering through under Obama. Loss

Biden didn’t run a campaign, but acknowledged people suffering under Trump and under Obama. Win

Harris ran a campaign on “I’m exactly the last guy and I’m not Trump” without acknowledging the people suffering under Biden’s policy, loss

People don’t vote against, they vote for, and if you give them no hope things will get better, why would they vote for you?

So Trump’s going to skyrocket inflation and debt again? Like he did last time and that this administration is finally in the late stages of cleaning up?

This happens basically any time a Republican president is elected. They shit all over the economy, tank it and finally when Democrats clean everything up these morons cry “I was better off under the guy that fucked up everything.”

I keep seeing everywhere that voters voted on the economy, yet no one seems to be pointing out the exhausting, blatantly obvious truth. It’s been happening for what, 20+ years now?

Republicans make a mess, Democrats are always forced to clean it up. So pardon me if I think the voters are idiots.

I get the feeling she would have won against any other candidate… it is just the people with weird admiration for Trump
