I started playing a frozen orb Sorc and it was a walk (barely used healing potions) until I got to Astaroth. Then, after few deaths I had to change my build in order to move forward.

Butcher killed my friend and I in the very first dungeon near the start of the campaign on day 1. I’d be surprised if we were even level 5 yet.
