One of my weirdest experiences in recent years was having a caffeteria worker and her manager tell me the vegan entree was for vegans only.

Apparently vegans are pets now, and the vegan food is un-safe for the rest of us.

Okay, yes, I know, their budget and planning only allowed them to make so much of that dish, but that’s also just stupid and sad. Gimme them artichoke hearts, damn it!
