I mean, it’s the WotC. They do want to turn your normal rpg game into a collectible where you need to buy into new edition or “edition” every three months because this is exactly what worked for the little colour cardboard pieces which made them rich and be able to encroach over other hobbies.
They could do class write-ups as collectibles in boosters, with rare prestige classes and ultra rare full art versions and so on. You know it!
Looks like WotC just found their new director of marketing. Seriously, shut your pie-hole before you inspire them. ;)
The Rules Lawyer pretty convincingly argues this is actually 9th edition (and later amended that to 10th edition based on a user comment).
