    Hezbollah originally formed to fight the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 1982. At that time they could have been considered a resistance group. That has not been relevant for two decades.

    The present-day Hezbollah is not a resistance group, it is a political and military organization, a significant power in the Lebanese government, and a proxy arm of the Iranian military.

      how is that not a resistance group? Does that mean Sinn Féin was not a resistance group in the 90s when they were a political group and being funded by the US?
