      I would like to see a legally mandated neon sticker informing customers if something needs an account and/or subscription to use the product.

      While I agree, companies collude and soon we have no options.

      Moreover, companies often unilaterally decide to cripple something you already have a paywall it after the fact.

      This is where regulation should come in and make this shit illegal
