The pinnacle of world sport isn’t the place to make personal statements and ‘be yourself’. The only thing the whole world saw is how bad she is at breakdancing. IMO she made a fool out of herself, her country and the sport.
Personal style is a big part of breakdancing in general, but also being world class at it is important at the Olympics.
For sure, many disciplines require creativity and expression. She did that, without showing any skill or technicality.
Technically, it was hilarious.
