Paris is considering following Lyon’s lead by introducing a sliding scale of parking fees based on a vehicle’s weight - meaning that parking for SUVs would become more expensive than for smaller cars.

      Good. EVs are a bit better than ICEVs but they’re still cars. Huge, dirty, terrible for the environment, noisy and dangerous for just about any other traffic participant; especially w.r.t. mass.

      We need to get them out of our cities and create viable alternatives.

    Hopefully this will help to reduce the incursion of large trucks and SUVs like we’ve been seeing creep into the EU.
