Yeah, yeah we know. She’s a girl. She has an innie instead of an outie. Misogyny is the stupidest thing that has ever been.

Misogyny is the stupidest thing that has ever been.

I mean, I’m not gonna argue that misogyny is not absolutely asinine bullshit, but racists used to consider Irish people nonwhite…

It makes sense when you realize white isn’t/wasn’t a race. It’s a social status thinly veiled as a race.

And this statement makes even more sense when you realize that race isn’t a real, measurable thing, but a social construct to group people with similar physical characteristics into one easily reduced and stereotypical “enemy”. all races are nothing more than social statuses.

(I recognize that in our modern world, after centuries of propagating the social constructs of race, it has sort of become a real thing insofar that we can’t pretend the idea simply never existed. it is impossible to “solve” the issue of race and have a society where benign physical characteristics simply don’t matter in day to day life without addressing the historical oppression and modern inequities of these groupings)

Yeah, basically started out as an excuse for imperialists to declare themselves inherently superior to the native peoples they supplanted

Thing is, none of them seem to be effective.

Turns out, having a candidate people don’t resent having to vote for makes it a lot less likely that attacks will land.

It helps that she has a sense of humor (about herself and I’m general) and so far the attacks have just rolled right off of her. Trump on the other hand is as brittle as bad glass. He wishes he was as robust as a snowflake.
