Honestly I feel like yeet is at least partially Millenial slang. It started in 2014 and the Zoomers are born 1997-2012. It’s just such a good word that it kinda stuck around.

I feel like other similar expressions have been around for a long time. But maybe was only popularized in that formulation in 2018
