Take this for what it’s worth: I own a stealth hoodie and wear it around the lower mainland (where Linus and his employees work). Ive met a few of his employees who spotted the hoodie and commented on it telling me they worked for him. I also met him in person once ata startup meetup in downtown Vancouver shortly after he left NCIX and was starting LMG and he seemed like a genuine person.

I always ask “is he really like that? Or is it an act?” And the answers is always the same “he really is a decent boss, and that is just how he is.”

He never forces anyone to do work in his home, and his employees do it because they are paid extra, and enjoy working on unusual projects.

Having worked for seriously toxic bosses before, i feel like we’d see a lot more staff turnover of this was the case; but instead we see an ever growing cast and crew as their channel offerings expand.

I agree that sometimes he crosses the line with being dismissive of his employees concerns, but he’s usually the one to pay the price, and always makes it right (which isn’t a great excuse, but its better than some would do)

I dont watch all his content, but what I have seen and had shared with me directly is that its a genuinely good place to work and Linus and Evonne genuinely want the best for everyone there.

Everyone has flaws, and he puts his on display.
