Could someone please help me identify this show? I started watching this - I think it’s a series, not a film - and then forgot about finishing it and now I can’t remember the name. (I’m not even sure if it’s on Netflix.)

A young middle aged man is at a party (I think) and a woman overdoses. He takes her to the hospital, saving her life, and is questioned by police. Can’t remember exactly what happens, but he lies about something because he’s scared, and they end up unnecessarily arresting him for some reason that I can’t remember either. They then blackmail him into going undercover to help catch (I think) a terrorist and things continue to spiral out of control.

I would love to finish the story, but I can’t find it. I tried Googling numerous things without success. Please help me, Reddit subscribers! You’re my only hope. Thanks in advance.

Edited to add that I’m not sure if this was an American show, but I’m sure it wasn’t “The Night of” or the British show that was based on. The story has to do with the young man being forced to help the police.
