At this point, Elliott Smith had already released two solo albums and was a year away from a whole lot of people knowing his music thanks to Good Will Hunting.

Thanks for the post. I cottoned onto Elliott when his first solo album came out but music discovery being what it was, I never heard about Heatmiser until recently and even now haven’t given them a proper listen. This is a good track.
It was a different world back then, for sure! I’m thankful I got to see him live even if I wasn’t a huge fan at the time.
