Two sources told NBC News that the Secret Service flagged a building near the rally site as a security concern. Investigators will be scrutinizing how a gunman was allowed to scale it.
The rooftop where a gunman shot at former President Donald Trump during a campaign rally was identified by the Secret Service as a potential vulnerability in the days before the event, two sources familiar with the agency’s operations told NBC News.
The building, owned by a glass research company, is adjacent to the Butler Farm Show, an outdoor venue in Butler, Pennsylvania. The Secret Service was aware of the risks associated with it, the sources said.
“Someone should have been on the roof or securing the building so no one could get on the roof,” said one of the sources, a former senior Secret Service agent who was familiar with the planning.
based on this logic: if republicans want to really guarantee his victory they should shoot at him more
No, that doesn’t follow and I suspect you knew that already. You only need to do a false flag like this once.
Can you stop with this whole false flag BS? The kid was over 400 feet away. The margin for error with a rifle at that distance, shooting for a target that small is zero. A slightly stiffer left to right wind and the bullet shatters his skull and Trump is picking bits of bone fragments out of his brain. Or if he shifts his head tenths of a second before the shooter pulls the trigger. Or if the sights were zeroed the day before.
It’s asinine to believe that this was staged. There’s a 20 year old kid shot dead on the roof by secret service and a 50 year old bystander dead in the stands behind Trump. Trump got lucky. Just as he always fucking does. I wish that wasn’t the case, but that’s what happened and now we just need to figure out how we deal with it.
Just to be clear are you saying a bullet hit his ear or a piece of glass?
None of your reasoning follows. You think the shooting is suspicious, but have no evidence to believe it was a “false flag”. Don’t accuse others of not playing make-believe correctly.
Brave words for someone who commented and then blocked
It does follow. If one crazy republican kid shooting at him increases the odds of him being elected why wouldn’t a second or third?
No it doesn’t. One false flag is enough, if you start doing it every week the effect is weakened and you risk giving away the game.
