To me your original point reads as “Trans people could have a normal reason for transitioning, but the result can be that they’re perverted” which like… what?

Last statement may be(and probably is) true, but it does not strictly oppose statement before it. People doing thing T1 not because of reason R doesn’t mean they won’t do thing T2.
