I’ll give him a chance. I had the same initial reaction to Peter Serafinowicz as The Tick in the Amazon series, which was basically “this isn’t Patrick Warburton so it can’t be any good.” But I eventually watched the series and really liked it, even though Warburton is still the definitive version for me.

I also thought David Harbour was alright even if the movie wasn’t very great, but Ron Perlman simply is Hellboy. That’ll never change, but he’s also probably never coming back so the choices are give the new guys a chance or never get another movie again.
