I watched the original video. She can explain it away all she wants. She still did it. I really don’t know why you are arguing so hard for her. She is a huge distraction and taking the focus off of those being tortured and killed in Gaza.

True, it may seem as if I am arguing hard for her.

I think as a person that has a community for her, that I should point out what she said and meant when she did that, so people have a better view of her character and the kind of person she is.

I am in disagreement in your framing of her character, she has explained well enough why she rolled her eyes, it was because the guest brought up the ‘believe all women’ straw man at the end of the segment.

Rising with The Hill has a history of firing people that speak out against Israels ‘potential’ and current genocide against the Palestinian people.

Kim Iversen and Katie Halper being two others that were fired, if you would like to know more about them and why their contracts were also ended.

Well in that instance it did seem like a straw man.

Some videos also point out the hypocrisy when this is brought up, when we talk about the Palestinian people.

Many reports have came out, for decades now, where sexual abuse is brought up on the Palestinian side and their experiences in Israeli detention.

Let us not forget that many Palestinians are being held by Israel in their detention centers, some are children that are released years later.

Both can be true. Caring about Palestinians does not mean we have to demean Israelis. It just doesn’t. Stooping to someone else’s level is not an acceptable excuse. It’s just not.
