So this is boggling to me.

I see people do this all the time when presented with an uncomfortable reality. When a message says “Bad THING happened” you will go “But we are here doing THING and not being bad, so why are you telling us?”

The point is to teach people about wrongs of the past so we don’t fucking do it AGAIN.

The point of this comic isn’t saying “you’re bad and should feel bad” you dingus, it’s “Lets stop drawing imaginary lines and killing each other over them.” so I am baffled why there’s always some annoying turd who has to “bUt AkShULLy” the point. It would be like getting annoyed with a doormat that says “wipe your feet” and trying to argue with the homeowner that it’s pointless to wipe your feet because more dust is tracked in from the windows and so on.

It’s OKAY to recognize bad things that have happened and continue to happen, if it makes you feel bad, if you think you’re being forced to feel guilty and do something you don’t want to, that’s just dumb… skill issue. Gain emotional intelligence via socialization so you’re not so mixed up when you see messages you don’t like. Feel bad and do like good adults do and use that feeling to inspire you to do something better in the future. Don’t parents teach this shit anymore?
