Are there any Squabbles people coming over here due to the exodus?

I already came over because it was so quiet over there once you ignored selfposts. Lemmy isn’t Reddit yet but there’s certainly more content. And the Memmy app made it easy to join.

Same here. I shifted from Squabbles to kbin pretty quick. I tried to get squabbles and raddle a go but not enough users.

I have been dipping my toe in here since I heard about the blog roll on Mike Shea’s podcast. It’s like my morning RPG newspaper and I like that.

did something happen? or is the “exodus” just due to a slow death? it seemed promising, but I did stop going there a while ago because there was enough here to scroll through

From what I’ve read, the owner went the"free speech" and “I only want discussions” route, removing 2 well-respected (based on comments I’ve read) admins in the process. Also made changes to the TOS such as what you post there is now owned by them. Seemed familiar. 🤔

Unfortunately, it seemed to me most of them are moving to Discuit, not lemmy.

Edit: not - > now. My inability to spell will get me in trouble really soon. I just know it. 🤦‍♂️

not gonna lie, i came in here expecting this to be one of those spambots that just posts like random words with a link embedded. A post called “Squabbles transplant” by “flibbertygibbit” certainly seemed like it would be one on the surface.
