Stimulants like Adderall and its generic equivalents leech Magnesium from your body, which can lead to muscle tension, stress headaches, jaw tightness (especially at night), teeth grinding, and a variety of unpleasant side effects.

Take Magnesium Taurate or Magnesium Glycerate, as other types (like Magnesium oxide or citate) do not absorb well at all & may actually cause stomach issues & absorption tolerance.

Take around 500mg at night, give it around 20 minutes, and you may find that you feel a difference very quickly! Especially if you are deficient.

Be sure to take both your meds and the Magnesium with lots of water! Stay hydrated throughout the day!

As with anything, if you’re unsure, are taking other medications, or have other health issues, it’s best to talk to a healthcare professional before adding supplements into your regimen.

I’m not a medical professional! Just someone who’s been on meds for around 10+ years — giving advice that I wish I had known earlier.

Stay safe & healthy, folks!

I don’t take ANY supplements I don’t discuss with my doctor first. Where did you hear this information about stimulants “leeching” magnesium from your body? I can’t find a single source about this anywhere.
