The drugs have been used to delay puberty until the child is the expected age to go through puberty, not to block puberty indefinitely. They might give them to a 5 year old who starts puberty to delay their puberty until they’re 10 or whatever the age is. That’s vastly different from giving them to a 13 year old and having them stay on them till 18 at which time they take cross sex hormones and get surgery.

One of those approved uses is chemical castration btw.

I did not lie. You said it yourself - their use for “gender dysphoria” Is experimental. The long term effects are unknown, but we already know of some terrible permanent side effects and we know they’re not fully reversible.

Technically, you didn’t lie. You just chose the most freighted language possible, and omitted the context that undermines your point (viz, that these drugs are approved for other uses).

Then, bringing up permanent side effects, you omitted the permanent harm caused by not administering treatment. Because that harm happens to people you don’t like.

This isn’t a debate, it’s you tubthumping against my friends. Fuck you for using children as a weapon.

There is no permanent harm by not using puberty blockers.

A drug being approved for one use doesn’t mean it’s safe to use for other uses. It isn’t approved for “gender dysphoria” because it hasn’t gone through the rigorous testing needed for approval. Doctors prescribing it are literally using the kids as test subjects. Thats unethical and disgusting.

Because that harm happens to people you don’t like

        Stop making things up.
