I agree that education is necessary to prevent a dog and an owner acting like an asshole.
But when it comes the occasional snap (and snaps do happen) no amount of education can prevent that, and a big dog snapping is not the same as a small dog snapping. One will at most make you need a band-aid, the other will kill you or leave lifelong sequels.
