    Exactly. It was time to move on. I remember leaving BBS Fidonet for Usenet. Usenet for Slashdot. Slashdot for Reddit. And now Reddit for Lemmy. That’s 35 years right there.

    The masses eventually arrive and then the space becomes a soulless corporate shell of it’s former self.

    Will be interesting to see how the fediverse fares.
