A shit tonne during harvest season, and as needed at other times, averaging out to about one in every two days of the year. No specific fixed weekend needed.

Pre-industrial revolution, most people worked about half of days. A shit tonne during harvest season, and as needed at other times, averaging out to about one in every two days of the year. No specific fixed weekend needed.
