Huh. I had a look at the installation instructions and have just learnt that the Forshire version of the base game that I’ve used in the past when installing BFME2 is apparently bad to use. Does some sort of customisation to make it incompatible with other versions and with mods.
When I last looked it was the only version I could get working. Hope these other versions work!
