I was a massive halo fan. I bought an xbox second hand when i was 9 with al the money i saved from my paper route and mowing lawns and it came with halo one and brute force.
I really only bought it though so i could play 4 player starwars battlefront.
Since then i have loved halo, but at halo 5 i really fell off with the games.
I waited for infinite but no local multiplayer killed it and i never purchased it.
I didn’t hate Halo 5. 2/3 of the game was pointless and bringing back Cortana was a mistake.
But I thought the Guardians were a cool stand-in for the rings, and the combat felt like they actually nailed what they were trying to do with 4. Plus the game left off on a nail biter of an ending.
Infinite just killed all excitement and interest I had in the series. I’m kind of jealous of you since you didn’t play it.
