I think artists with variety in their sound would be good. So I’d go:

David Bowie
Blur
Queen.
However, I’d consider the Beatles, Madonna, radiohead and muse.

Agreed. Any list without Bowie is just objectively wrong. It’s like cheating, with 7 artists that only count as one.
