Hi everyone,

As I’m sure you’ve seen, the lemmy fediverse has exploded in the last week or so. I’m looking for volunteers to moderate the communities that exist here on aussie.zone.

If you’re interested, please make a post in the relevant community saying you’d like to volunteer, with a statement to the effect that you’ll apply the rules (shown in the sidebar) fairly and impartially.

Note that due to the way Lemmy currently works, to make anyone a mod they need to post within the community for me to grant the mod status. I can’t do it from a reply here.

This community (!meta) will remain with only admins as moderators, to be used for mod-admin communication as required.
