Yeh 100% agree. I left Reddit partly because of the way they handled the whole thing, but the way the the mods acted over this was what pushed me over the edge. I was already only commenting maybe 5% as much as previously because the mods of most of the big subs got too big for their britches. They just want circle jerks of their own opinions.
I thought I’d be back there regularly just lurking anonymously, but since deleting my account I just don’t even care, don’t even miss it at all. The decline is well underway and there’s no stopping it, especially when they go public and are forced to chase profits and growth.
